I noticed white iris blooming in several yards on my way home Wednesday and decided I needed to check my yard when I got home...sure enough, one lone iris was blooming, with several buds getting ready to open.
We have got almost 2 1/2 inches of rain today with up to 8 inches predicted by
Monday. After the drought last year, I'm not going to complain one bit. Afterall, it takes spring showers to make more flowers!
I never can remember the exact name of these little flowers...snow drops, teacups, bell flower...can you help a girl out? What are these little flowers?
I'm excited that day light savings time begins this weekend! It will be wonderful to have more time to work in the yard when I get home from work. I started seeds in my greenhouse last week, and this week the cosmos, alyssum, and zinnias have germinated! I'm hoping Farmall Man can get the tiller out sometime soon and my lawn mower must be fired up as well.
hmm. not sure on the flower i.d. they sure are cute, though. :)
